Baroque Period Painted Secretary

Early 18th century polychrome painted secretary cabinet with deeply patinated olive green and red exterior. Two lower moulded doors are surmounted by a hinged drop front concealing a fitted interior with four drawers, two hidden cubbies and a writing surface. The upper case features a moulded cornice over matching ogee paneled doors. The iron hardware is original and the locks are in working order. Raised on short square legs. Flanders / Spanish Netherlands. Circa 1700.
