A New Chapter

After more than 30 years of buying and selling art and antiques, I’ve decided it’s time for a change. I am closing the retail portion of my business so that I can dedicate myself fully to making art. This transition marks the beginning of a long held dream, and I’m excited for what lies ahead. As part of the process, I will be liquidating my inventory over the coming months.

A stunning late 19th century Aymara ceremonial 'Tari' cloth (ceremonial ground shaman's cloth) from the Pacajes region of Bolivia, Department of La Paz - circa 1880. All natural dyes with vertical stripes against a field of abrashed natural brown. In original, unrestored condition.

Professionally stretched and mounted on a fine linen cloth. 

Dimensions: Tari cloth measures approximately 28 inches horizontal x 29 inches vertical. Stretched linen cloth measures 30 inches x 31.5 inches.
