A New Chapter

After more than 30 years of buying and selling art and antiques, I’ve decided it’s time for a change. I am closing the retail portion of my business so that I can dedicate myself fully to making art. A stunning 19th century Mexican folk retablo -- La Purisima Concepcion (The Purity of Mary). The Purity of Mary represents a youthful Virgin Mary flanked by a palm and a cypress tree with a serpent underfoot. Displayed in a period reverse glass painted and punched tin nicho frame, a magnificent work of art in itself.
