This 19th century retablo painting on heavy gauge tin represents "La Vindimia Mistica", a rare subject in retablo art. "El Varon Eucaristico", as it is also known, represents Christ after the crucifixion together with seven sacrificial lambs and the "Mystical Vine," symbolizing the sacrifice of the Eucharist.
