A New Chapter

After more than 30 years of buying and selling art and antiques, I’ve decided it’s time for a change. I am closing the retail portion of my business so that I can dedicate myself fully to making art. This rare 19th century oil on canvas painting represents San Cayetano, the patron saint of gamblers. San Cayetano is venerated in Mexico to bring money and luck for gamblers. His heavily ornamented chain and belt are a reference to his rejection of wealth. Circa 1850.
