This rare 19th century retablo represents San Vicente Ferrer. Saint Vincent, patron saint of masons and brick layers, is almost always depicted as he is here, as a winged angel wearing black and white Dominican vestments.
Oil on hand adzed wood tablet with a rich and lustrous surface patina.
The retablo measures 17" vertical x 13" horizontal.
