A fine and rare late 19th century silk embroidered wedding shawl from the Sindh province in Southwestern Pakistan. Hand brocaded and embroidered ends separated by a field of silk strawberry blossoms on a hand spun cotton panel with a gauze like weave. Professionally backed, stretched and mounted. Circa 1880.
Dimensions: 65 inches vertical x 44 inches horizontal.
