Continental Slant Front Desk

19th century Continental slant front desk with original tomato red paint. Initialed and dated 1848. The hinged-front conceals 15 drawers and one cubby over three large drawers and a narrow map drawer, all raised on bun feet. Original hand painted pinwheels and polychromy.
